2014 China Fragrance, Flavor, and Cosmetics Industry Annual Conference Held in Hangzhou

From September 12th to 14th, the "2014 China Fragrance, Flavor, and Cosmetics Industry Annual Conference and the 30th Anniversary Commemorative Exhibition of the China Fragrance and Cosmetics Association" was held at the Baimahu Jianguo Hotel in Hangzhou. Nearly 1,000 participants attended, including leaders from the State Food and Drug Administration, the National Health and Family Planning Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the China National Light Industry Council, as well as representatives from relevant local governments, provincial and municipal associations, relevant international organizations, and industry enterprises and related personnel.

The year 2014 marked the 30th anniversary of the China Fragrance and Cosmetics Industry Association. Over the past thirty years, industry colleagues have worked together, overcoming challenges and creating the brilliant achievements of the Chinese fragrance, flavor, and cosmetics industry.  Many remarkable well-known enterprises and industry leaders have emerged; numerous famous brands and high-quality products have also gained increasing favor from consumers. The theme of this conference was "Reflecting on the Past, Looking to the Future." To commend the enterprises and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the industry over the past thirty years, review the industry's development history, summarize experiences, and inspire enthusiasm to build the Chinese Dream, the association has carried out a series of celebratory activities since the beginning of the year to commemorate its 30th anniversary. These activities included: the 30th-anniversary awards selection, preparation for the 30th-anniversary commemorative exhibition, editing of the commemorative album, collection and display of photographic and calligraphic works, production of a commemorative video, and preparation for various modules of the annual conference.

This annual conference combined professionalism, authority, and internationalism, comprehensively reflecting the abundant achievements of the industry's vigorous development over the past thirty years, and fully showcasing the inspiring achievements of the leading enterprises and outstanding individuals that have emerged during this period. While summarizing the development experience of the past thirty years, the conference also facilitated the exchange of the latest technological achievements and industry trends, and jointly explored the future development path and direction of the industry.
